EUTC was proud to announce the second webinar of the year. The session on Critical Entities Resilience (CER) legislation was held online on June 21, from 12:00 to 13:00 CET.
The online session counted on the presentation of the following experts:
- Frédéric Petit: Project Officer of the European Commission
- Roman Schotten: Research Assistant at Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal (FH)
- Frédéric Guyomard: Project Coordinator of EDF
The session was moderated by Sergio Ramos Pinto, Vice-President of EUTC.
CER Legislation is being introduced throughout the EU during 2024 and will place mandatory requirements on many operators of critical national infrastructure – especially regarding the potential for cascade failure of CNI sectors and requirements for increasingly robust and resilient disaster recovery and cyber security plans. Those who joined our lunchtime webinar, heard more about how this new legislation will impact the utility sector and heard from three experts in this field.
